Another Great Golf Trip Successfully Completed

43 golfers and 9 non-golfers had enjoyed this April’s golf trip to Sirene Belek Golf Hotel from 22nd to 29th April.2025.The travellers participated yoga courses, attended a short game lesson, displayed dance and karokoe skills, had a brilliant evening in the ala-carte fish restaurant and experienced pleasent & friendly golf competition.

The texas scramble team scores positioned the winners on the best 18 hole course scores in the VPAR golf application;

  • Pasha - Net 68 on 24.April.2025 by the shared 1st and 2nd teams ( Team Earl- James, Niel & Karen and Team Suresh - Pat, Ray & Javed)

  • Sultan - Net 70 on 25.April.2025 by the 1st team ( Team Elisabeth- Gerard, Raymond & Karen)

    Individual stableford competions resulted outstanding results by Michael with 42 points on 26.April at the Pasha, Iris excelled at the challenging Sultan course on 27.April with 41 points and finally Maria achieved an amazing 43 points at the Pasha course. The overall individual results crowned Michael as the leader, Iris runner-up and James on the third position.

    The Beachcomber’s hole-in one award brought by Elisabeth created exciting moments while playing the par 3 holes. Few skilled golfers ( e.g. Brian) was very close to the miracle.

    Thanks for everyone for their outanding friendship and company to make this an event to look forward to join again.

Golf Competitions

Competition Rules :

  • Teams format :Texas scramble, stroke competition. Every player in the tee team should have 4 tee shots.

  • Playing handicap will be entered to VPAR by the organizer.

  • 1/10 combined course handicaps ( 4 players) or 1/6 combined Course handicaps ( 3 players).

  • Where a team is placed ahead of the following team in the results, result will be based on VPAR ‘ Countback’.

  • 1st - 120, 2nd-80, 3rd-60 4th- 40 ( shared amongst the team)

  • Individuals format: Stableford format, official handicaps at the start, Winners cut 1 hcp point

  • Stableford points 32-37 pts cut 1 hcp point and over 38 pts cut 2 hcp pts

  • Stableford points 24-31 pts- no change, points below 24 increase 1 hcp points

  • Daily prize - 1st 75, 2nd 65,3rd 60,4th 50, 5th 40, 6th 30, 7th 20, 8th 10

  • Overall prize ( sum of three days stbl points) - 1st 85, 2nd 75, 3rd 65, 4th 55, 5th 50 6th 40 7th 30 8th 20 9th 20 10th 10

  • Where an individual is placed ahead of the following individual in the results, result will be based on VPAR ‘ Countback’.

The group will play 5 rounds of golf in Antalya Golf Club Pasha and Sultan golf courses. There will be two rounds of Texas Scramble team event and three rounds of individual Stableford golf rounds. A Microsoft Teams meeting held on 29.March.2025 and tee times & groups established through an online draw. The tee times and latest handicaps of players who will participate to draw is provided below.

VPAR golf application will be used to enter the individual and team scores and determine the daily winners. All of the golfers are registered in VPAR golf scoring application.

If any one who plays a hole in one in the individual stableford competition in any of the Par 3 holes will win 7 nights at the Paradis Beachcomber resort in Mauritius ( dbl room ok HB) value at approx £ 4000.
